I bought it last year for an elk hunt I had planned but lost my job just before so I didn't end up going.

How does the chip work with the garmin is it preloaded with maps or do you still have to buy onx subscription each year

Thanks

Buck

The chip shows all the public land and will show everything for that year. You can update it every year but the only thing that changes would be like the block management land and whatever is private land that they allow public to hunt on. The public land ( Blm, National forest, state public land) doesn't change. The gps shows public land boundaries still and it's a couple years old.
