I currently use a cheap Garmin eTrex10 which is a great little unit for the price. I'm leaning towards buying a Garmin 62st so I can use the map chips. Can I transfer data and waypints from my eTrex to the 62st? Can I enter lat/long coordinates into the 62st and push go to get to them? I had some lat/long coords for places I wanted to go but couldn't figure out how to enter them on the eTrex. Thanks for any help you can offer!

Yes you should be able to transfer by using Garmin Map Source or check out easygps. I have been using the upgrade expertgps for over ten years but started with easygps. Good support at that site also. http://www.easygps.com/:D Forgot to mention I have had my 62st since it first came out and the cost was $550.00
