Testing the waters... up for Sale/Trade is my Semi Custom 300 RUM.
It started out as an R700 SPS 300 RUM. I gutted and upgraded it to its current state. It's currently sporting:
6 flute, straight fluted 26" Lilja barrel 1/12" twist.
Seamless radial muzzle break (5/8x24).
Bell and Carlson Long Range Tactical Stock. Thumb Hook Style.
Glass bedded.
Standard Xmark Pro Trigger.
I know that 1/12" isn't optimal for the RUM. It limits the larger bullets the RUM can shoot... this wasn't my doing, I purchased the Lilja barrel used online as a .308. It was advertised as a 1/10" twist but when it arrived and I took it to my gunsmith he measured it over and over and delivered the unfortunate news, it is in fact 1/12" and it was to late to do anything about it. So I had it threaded on and I went with it.
That being said it will shoot the 180 grain stuff in .5 MOA and below at 3150 FPS, with only 81.5 grains of powder. Wich makes this thing a laser beam rifle with the light bullets and also due to the weight and minimal powder charge it's actually a delight to shoot. Let me know if you have any questions. Can get more pics up if desired.
Asking $1250 O.B.O for the rifle. I'll throw in 50 once fired Norma brass as well. Scope and Rings NOT included.
