SOLD/EXPIRED FS Krieger SS Remage 260 Remington 26"+, 5/8-24 muzzle

I'm putting this up for sale. The contour is too heavy for my current stock so I'm letting it go.

Krieger, Stainless Steel polished to 400 grit
8.5 twist
26 5/8"
Muzzle threaded 5/8-24 tpi x .550" long
.715" counterbore
Remage style, nut not included, thread length 1.5"
Heavy Target/Varmint contour, .915" muzzle

This was formerly a 6.5x284 that I chopped the chamber off and re-threaded. Chamber was centered to about .0002", threads cut, pre-drilled, taper bored then finish reamed.

Round count was @ 375 before cutting the tenon off and rechambering. I'll post pictures tonight after I get home around 7:30 central time.

That is a good question. I got it in a trade and never shot it. The guy I got it from was moving to a straight 284 win instead of the 6.5/284.
