I can shoot it well without a break and turn out some decent 1" inch groups with it.
Its a little heavy at 12-13lbs with a scope so this helps but not with spotting your own shots. To me its quite managable but it really all depends on the shooter.

Bigcat,
The sendero is little on the heavier side so the recoil is very manageable without a break. I have one in a 7 RUM and it doesn't need a break. However, if you get the yips (flinch) easily, a break would really help.
