Not sure how you are coming up with that but......

A 300 RUM chamber is 2.860" to the front of the neck. That's going to put the freebore in the .960" - .965" range.

I believe he is referring to what a loaded cartridge over all length is for his chamber, my 338 Lapua with a 300gr Berger loaded is 3.980".

Chamber was cut with a ptg reamer then throated to accept the bigger 300 grain bullet. I don't see how this is hard to figure out my edge is 4.020 so am I lying also?

4.020 what? To the lands or over all cartridge length? I would assume with your number it is OAL length. That will leave the freebore about .140". When you subtract an inch from 3.840", you get a number shorter than the case.

At this point just jacking jaw and almost done with that since nobody seems to know what the specs are. It would have been nice to know if that chamber has a very long freebore since I'm ordering a reamer with a very long freebore.

A barrel duh! It shoots .338 cal. Lead projectiles.....very well to if I may add.
