I spent 30 years as an LA County Deputy Sheriff. I retired 2 years ago at 53. I got out as soon as I could because the job sucks so much now. I got out of LA as soon as I was able but am still stuck in lousy California. Be very careful out there my brothers.

Sometimes in my crazy head I think, why don't we deport these people to a country with a political system that they like. If they hate the good ol' american way so much and preach leftist ideology and socialism well lets ship them somewhere else that has a goverment like the one they want to implement here, like Venezuela, somewhere in the Middle East, China, etc etc and see how they like it.

I am not talking about immigrants to be clear, my dad was an immigrant and so is my mom, I am first generation mexican american or american mexican what ever you want to call it. My wife as well and we both live in this country because of the opportunities and freedom it provides.

I moved to the US about 24 years ago and my wife has lived in this country for only 16 years now, and I am more than often surprised how we have more appreciation for our military, police and first responders than many many other americans. How they selfishly risk their lives for us to have the freedom and privileges that we enjoy on a daily basis.

How can a major betray the men and women that risk their lives for the people of his city? That is simply disgusting, and what is worst is that people voted and placed this person in office. It just blows my mind.

I agree with you! My soon to be wife is Mexican. She say all the time why are they to make this coo like Mexico! She loves the freedoms that we have. When we go to Mexico she is worried about my safety and for herself. When I worked in a car dealership, I met many immigrants from all over the world, they love it. Many would say Americans don't know how lucky or what they have. It's sad what they are doing to our police. I have many Leo friends, they are afraid to do their jobs and afraid for their lives. They are destroying this country from within and we are letting them.

It is a very bad time in the states....
But I think that we are all missing the biggest picture here...a few arrest would definitely make a huge difference in LadyLibertys site.....
The past presidential administration has caused a lot of what is going on...still....
The past administration has been found to have committed the biggest crime on our nation....the coop of our freely elected president....we voted him there..he is doing and has been doing an incredible job in spite of his antagonist...

Until the past administration and all the tag-a-longs are taken from society and placed in steel cages....should anyone be held accountable for anything....
How can a court rule against a drunk driver if an administration murdered a law enforcement office and no one was put in prison....
How can a court rule on a child molestation case if a former president has been absolved of the same when there more than enough proof.....
It's time for our president to tell the DOJ to arrest them all....
Or shut down.....
If it the latter....i hope everyone has enough ammunition...cause hell is coming.....

I would support more funding to the police. Some of this could go to training on less lethal measures. Some could go to increased efforts to reduce crime. It would take a sick individual to support what happened to George Floyd. Unrelated, people should respect and obey a lawful order given them by the police. It goes without saying that the majority of police officers are good people that protect us from those who are not. Police officers that abuse their position should be rooted out quickly. Reducing valuable police funds and treating good police officers like sh_t is going to backfire on our country. Check this link out to an HBO documentary on YouTube about Crisis Intervention Policing that has been a success within the San Antonio Police Department and exported elsewhere. . Good, ethical, and effective policing should be rewarded rather than demonized.

Our men in blue deserve our respect. What that New York City mayor has done is simply idiotic. He has never had any respect for the police.
This whole socialist movement has me scared. If they get the white house, senate and house this country will not be the same in a very short time. To hate our sitting president that much that they are willing to collapse this country for it just doesn't make sense to me.

How can you say that this wasnt a political thread....if the post were posted elsewhere you would now be a white supremacist...
My message was clear....that there too much being over looked for what did happen...and that set a precendence for everything that is now going on in our country....
The police haven't a real stance to rely on now....they don't know if they can pull someone over for an injustice...let alone the perp being released thru the revolving doors....and then being sued for bigotry.....and,that's not just a skin color..that can now be associated to income levels.....
The police..national guard....and whomever else are going to be sent into to rectify the situation already had targets on their shirts....whether black..asian..or white.....without the support from the local government...they should walk away....let the people's city councils do the guarding....then and only then work for someone that doesnt leave them hanging....i went fo school with several veterans and LE...and several of the veterans went into LE when they returned from service........i would stand right beside them....

I grew up there and its nothing compared to how it is today.

You are correct, people here have new clue at all how good we have it. There is actually a law that is enforced daily, courta that actually work. People can go out at night and cruise the down or walk safely in downtown. Qe have a social security system you can retire with (well maybe nor for long). There is no rule of law, literally. Here you can go to a cop and ask for help and they do, and then some.

That is why I posted to deport them to the country with a political system like the one they want, give them a little taste and see how they like it.

Not trying to hijack the thread going political but our LE is getting threated like crap and it's frustrating, many mayors, governors, membera of congress and senate arent backing them up.

Yes there are some bad apples out there, and provably always will be, and what happened to Mr Floyd and many others should've never happened.

I have a couple of friend in the Sheriff's Dept and I feel for them the crap they have to put with sometimes. Some deal with racism inside their our departments and there should be no room for that. Unfortunatelly Racism will always exist and all we can do is raise our kids with good values and morals so they can be better than us. Teach them the value of a Human Life and to help and love one another.

It's scary the world our kids are growing up in. But we can make it better.
