Too bad they don't offer those in a 10.5" with a 15" handguard... That would make for a nice compact package with a good can on it.

That would be ideal, and what I was getting at. 9"-10.5" of barrel, carbine length gas, and an integral can welded on to overall the barrel length of 16.1"-17", and that would be the ideal compact package for hiking or covert ops.
