First 14 shots down the barrel in my Savage 30-06AI 25". Rifle is in a Boyds laminated thumb-hole stock and is not bedded.
Acc2495 @45g for the first 7. Then stepped it up to 46g to get a good shoulder blow-out for the last 7. Sierra 165 SBTs @ 3.340 COAL. Federal brass, CCI 200 primers

Get it bedded if you want the best accuracy out of it, my opinion. You should get close to 3000 fps out of it. You would with a 154HHT bullet!
Yep, will do it next week. I wanted to make sure that the inletting of the stock was finished. I had to do some Dremel work. I usually shoot a rifle a few times and then bed it just to make sure that my bedding job makes an improvement.

Finished fire forming today. Pretty happy so far …gun definitely shows potential.
5 shots went high, adjusted zero as I move this scope around to different platforms.
Garmin works every time, but only works when you have it turned on.😆

Savage rocks! Your load looks like a winner to me. I am pushing the 190 Berger VLD at 2806 FPS out of my .30 Gibbs 24" with RL-17 more powder room to spare. I might step down to 165/168 grainers for my intended purpose. Good luck and happy safe hunting/shooting.

Thank you. I've never used 2495 in my ought six cases.
Seems like it might work with lighter bullets
