Not a monster but he has character. Next to last day of 2021 Oregon general deer season. Finished the build 2 years ago. Rebarreled Model 70 Fwt from 280 Rem to 338-06 with Pac-Nor 24" Fwt contour barrel. Load was 53.5grs IMR-4895, 200GR Hornady SST, 2800 FPS. I wish the shot could be called LR, but 45yds doesn't qualify. Quite impressed with terminal performance of the bullet. Will include pics of entry and exit, note no internal bloodshot. I call him a 3 x WT@ due to unique right side. Show Some 338-06 love and send pics of 338-06 kills.
