To answer how she shoots. Pics of the 300 yard group. I didn't have paint and taping cardboard on steel targets is a waste of time(learned the hard way), so I don't have the planned 700 yard group.

I did ring steel at 1100 as well. 180 eld-m. H1000. .025 off lands.

.288 MOA

Nice work! What kind of velocity are you seeing with the H1000? I got 3150 and tight groups with the 180 ELD and Retumbo, but I can't duplicate it with once fired and annealed brass. So I settled on a load that is only 3080 with fired brass.

I running about 3050 fps with H1000. I have the saami throat. I believe my next node would be overpressure without extending the throat. I have some retumbo and might play with it more, but I got killer loads with the 28 and my 7mm with h1000. I'll use the retumbo on the 195s.

How's your 28 shooting?

It's hovering in the half moa range and sometimes better. With virgin brass it's lights out. One hole groups but I'm struggling to get there with fired brass. Mine is throated for a COAL of 3.7 with the 195 Berger. I'm liking the 180eld better at the moment.

My load development was done with fired brass. I found it cheaper to buy loaded ammo than new brass. I shot the new ammo for break in and started load development.

Good luck.
