Anyone ever tried Magnet Fishing??
We have a lot of Bridges and Streams/Lakes here in the South. I thought about doing some Magnet Fishing right after the County Made a Resivor around our home. Probably could have found a lot of firearms, but now every bridge is covered over. BUT hundreds of others to be explored!

I have. Normally find lots of junk, some fishing lures if hooks not rusted off, and other rusted parts. I had visions of finding guns and knives and have not found any of them. Had a pretty nice magnet but it got hung on something and I ended up breaking the rope trying to pull it free.

You should see the trash that people throw off of city piers and into resivoirs, I'm a recreational scuba and ex comercial diver---- it's disgusting (car batteries are far too often found, but I've seen appliances - engine blocks- you name it--, now most have cameras to try to curtail the dumping issue)

There's a bunch of youtube videos on this. They pull up a bunch of junk but they also pull up some cool stuff. Occasionally a firearm comes up too. We found one at elk camp one year. It was in the fire pit, the local Sheriff's Office was called shortly after.
