Finally pulled the plug on a reliable scope

its been a couple years that I've agonized over spending a decent amount of money on a quality/turret reliable scope. Every time I think I have the right one figured out, another review or concern over weight/glass/best bang for buck/etc would pop up and fog my decisions. Al Gore's internet can be a blessing and a curse.

Well, a NF NX8 F2 4-32 is on my way. I even agonized over which NF once I set my decision on that brand. Planning on using it on a 300PRC.
I understand that feeling completely. And the money shock.. And now I have 6 real good scopes. Im kind of partial to my Delta Stryker 4.5-30x56 FFP ELR and my TRACT Toric 4.5-30x56. I also have a Valdada Texas Raider 3-24x50 that's pretty solid too. Buying my 1st expensive scope was a long well though AGONIZING process.. Then the next few was just like riding a bicycle.. Just click that button on my Dell Computer.. LOL I looked at a Hensoldt butb $7,800. was just a little more squeak that I had oil for.LOL
You picked a good proven scope yourself.

Yep I spent way to much on lower tier scopes.
Heck I remember when my Nikon monarch seemed way to much for $680. Now my 7-35 atacr barely made me nervous.

yes I remember buying a Nikon Prostaff 7 at a pawn shop for 300. and thought I spent something and then I got my First $550 SWFA FFP 3-15x42 and thought I was looking thru a telescope.Id never had anything more than a Redfield 4x and a Weaver K6 and I hunted and killed stuff from ND to South TX .Im sure I was way behind everyone but 6 years ago Id never heard of a FFP scope. I have Leupold 6.5-20x42 on my Browning White Gold Medallion 7MM Remington Mag and I shot a Elk at 450 yards and Id never shot any big game that far.
I got interested in shooting Long Range and Extreme Long Range and new I needed better optics and I educated myself on them..Thanks to Snipers Hide and Cyclops and Rex Tibor on YouTube and Richard Utting they saved me from wasting a lot of money .
What are you putting that nice NightForce on?
