Final Word On Nosler Accubond LR

My WT buck last year, 505 yards with a 168 Berger @3060, dropped at the shot. Walking over to him he got up and i shot him 6 more times, all in the shoulder. Didnt even knock him down, until the 6th shot. None of the rounds made it through the ribs. This was at 50 yards...first shot was a little high clipped his spine.

Accubonds next year...

Six shots from 50 yards? How is that even possible? What is your thinking as to what happened to cause this? Bad lot of bullets?

He got up and i starting shooting. How is that possible ? Im telling you what happened the buck wouldnt go down and i kept on shooting. Not a big deer, maybe 250 lb.

Im thinking too high of velocity impact with the Bergers. Not a popular opinion on here im sure. Never had that problem with accubonds or partitions.

Too be fair ive had good performance with Bergers at 300+.

I've used the Nosler 190 ABLR in a 300 RUM at short range (70 yards) on two deer. Both shot at 70 yds.

Muzzle velocity of 3340 FPS. One deer dropped like a sack of tators. Complete pass thru. The second deer was not a complete pass thru. This traveled ~30 yards.

Internal damage was massage on both deer.

I'd use them again on deer. In fact, I plan to use them a lot. I've got an XP-100 7 SAUM build in progress. I plan to use the N168ABLR in this one.

Couple of pics in the deer hunting section.

Every once in a while I'll see a gun that will stress the jackets to much and you'll see this, I load the 168 Target, have yet to see a deer stop one, excellent wound channel and penetration.

YI am very angry, look what is happening to me with these Nosler bullets, I hope Nosler responds and gives a guarantee for this failure

After the experience my dad and I had on our combined Elk and mule deer hunt, both of us using Berger's which worked amazingly, this story seems fantastical.
