Field judging Aoudad Rams

All it did was made me want more sheep hunting. Would really like to do another Aoudad. That desert country is rough and beautiful. And the animals are awesome. Was probably one of the funnest hunts I've done.

Don't think it never rains in the high desert. Shot mine up high. About the time we made it over to him (Hours Later) it started a freezing drizzle, and was getting dark. I swore to GOD if he let me back down that mountain alive I would never climb another one. I have kept that promise for 30 years. Yes, I totally understand the thrill. Only time I ever saw a guide whoop and hollar after a shot. Also the only time I ever saw a guide truly afraid.
