Favorite recoil pad? Win Model 70 300WM

I've used Pachmayr Decelerator and Kickeeze and I prefer the Pachmayr on a rifle and Kickeeze on a shotgun. The Pachmayr seem to be easier to grind.

LIMBSAVER! Have them on every rifle and shotgun that needs felt recoil mitigation. They are noticeably more effective than the older materials used in other brands.

Awesome. Looks like they have one for the model 70 with no work needed. Is it pretty "plush?" The factory one is on the firm side.

To me, the Pachmayr Decelerators feel more plush/soft, but the Kickeeze is more "absorbing", especially with big kickers.

For example, all of my 30cal/12ga (target) and below are Decelerator or similar hardness, but my 458 Lott is a Kickeeze….At the 30 cal level, I can see going either way.

At the 6mm - 280 Rem level, I wish there was more of a super soft by someone or like a dampened coil spring where the housing could be rugged and firm with a softer pad.

Frankly, I think every caliber can benefit from recoil reduction…To me, this is as much about seeing hits as reducing shoulder impact.

I'll second the vote for the Kickeeze. Put one on my uncles sporterized Springfield after the original had given up the ghost from to much time in the truck gun rack.
