Favorite Powder for a 20 inch barrel 7mm-08?

A powder not often talked about but that works great for me in my 7/08 with 140-150 gr bullets is H-100V.

RL17 and N550 are going to be top for speed. They're top for speed in all the 308 sized cases. N550 is a bit more temp stable than RL17.

With 120 ttsx in my 7-08 I used CFE223 and the velocity was awesome , I got 3250fps in a sako finnlite with a 20.5" bbl and very accurate. For anything heavier than 120 gr I love RL17.
Nothing has beat CFE 223 in the speed department for the 7-08 in my experience.
Also your barrel stays supper clean with the copper fouling additives in the CFE.

We got 32#s of CFE223 just because we could and wanted to use when we ran out of Varget.
Glad to see it (CFE223) is working for some shooters

You may have enough CFE223 to test a ladder (lol).
