So does a fast twist barrel lose accuracy quicker than a slower twist? Is there more pressure with like weight bullets? More heat and throat erosion? 406muley

If ran at the same pressure, I dont think there is much difference. A faster twist will pressure up a little quicker,
all else equal, so theoretically at least, will run a little slower.

I don't recall the book but Bryan Litz did a test and said that you loose about 5fps per 1 inch of faster twist. In my testing I also noticed little difference but of course it was 2 different barrels from 2 different makers.
