Fast focus Diopter adjustment moves retical and POA?

So I'm mounting a new Sigtron SIII scope tonight and I'm focusing the retical with the fast focus diopter (eyebell) and notice as I turn or "wiggle" this end piece of the scope the retical appears to move and looks like it also changes my point of aim. So I checked my other Sightron scopes, and they too appeared to do the same thing. I have always had good luck with these scopes and have done a lot of successful shooting with them, but this is the first I have noticed the potential for Point Of Aim shifts when turning or wiggling the end piece assembly (ocular lens?).

Has there been any research, studies, or others noticing this same thing with these or other scopes or am I just "seeing things"?

Good shooting and swage on!

Probably, I suspect that once you tighten down that ocular in the position where it gives you a clear sharp reticle, that once tightened you will no longer have any POA shifting. In other words, just get a sharp reticle and lock the ocular down in that position and you won't have any problems with shifting POA.
