Fall Bear

I'd say a very productive 12 hours of hunting with an elk and then a bear that size. Hope you do well again this fall. Hearing we need some rain soon to help the acorn crops a bit.

From what I am hearing the south east part of the state around Trinidad where I am hunting has had ample rain, food plots are growing and many big bulls and bears have been seen. I hope it holds true. I didnt get a CO elk or bear last year, hope I can at least get my bull, a bear would be nice icing on the cake.

I was down there today and it looked pretty good. Acorns seemed to be developing well. You could see differences in foliage that varied dramatically within a 10 mile span. It looked like there were small pockets that had received a lot more moisture than others.

Overall it looked like the acorns were in fair shape. Guess we will see...
