Er shaw barrel problem

Can these "threads"be lapped out and make an accurate shooting barrel,or should I just make tent pegs out of it?

Bore scopes cause more issues than they solve.

I've got probably a dozen ER shaw barrels, and they are all pretty amazing. I don't own a borescope, nor do I care what they look like. It probably shoots bug holes and you don't actually have a problem.

Don't ever look down this savage barrel.
338 lapua 15 shots over the course of four hours. Plenty of those " threads" in a savage.
