Hammer Time Forum Member shot this 350 class Wyoming bull at 633 yards with a 300 PRC and the 214 Hammer Hunter with a MV of 2880FPS.
He stated, "Both shots put a pounding on his far leg (or shoulder). I could only find one exit through the off shoulder, and found one petal under the hide on the off side. I think they impacted about 2-3" apart, 2nd one had a little more angle to it and a little further forward. Only 4 steps taken before he started falling down the hill so it got the job done."
Congratulations on a great long range shot, a calm guide, a beautiful bull, a year's supply of elk meat!
Check out the video and epic vapor trail into the bull!
