EPA planning to ban Lead Ammo

I wonder: will this go the way of states' rights? Didn't Montana (and other states) declare that they could make thier own regs with respect to making firearms, silencers AND ammo?

Dont think thats right. Just checked EPA website and they sent a letter out regarding the petition and that they were going to move ahead with the public comments. Could the report about them "rejecting a petition" be a diversionary tactic by groups so less public comment is made? Until the EPA actually reports there actions dont believe anything from the media. The EPA website still has them moving forward.

Just checked again(Monday morning the 30th) The only letter is the one dated the 18th (http://www.epa.gov/oppt/chemtest/pub...on_8.18.10.pdf) ,nothing about them rejecting anything on there website.
Looking at the way this administration does business This is a diversionary tactic all you have to do is look at the little bit of history you are allowed to look at.
