Entry level O/U for divorce present

morning, win. 101. had 3 of them. never had a problem.
SKS. all very reliable. justme gbot tum

Believe it or not, Yildiz sold by Academy is a very good entry level O/U. I used one for years and it did great. Mostly dove hunting. Gotta keep it clean and oiled. Upgraded to a Citori now and gave it to a mechanic that works w/ me for 20 yrs.. He shoots clays now and loves it.
I bought one if those too. The fit and finish is pretty good. Mine has a real nice walnut stock. Have you checked out their website? They make some high end models also. For$500 or less you cant got wrong. And it comes with all the choke tubes.

Whatever make you get..make it affordable to shoot....12 is to much to shoulder to shoot for backyard fun..28&410 get expensive with factory loads...
20 gauge is about right for shooting and cost efficient....

I have an older beretta 686 in 20 ga. I bulged a barrel mearns hunting and had beretta fit a new set of barrels and ejectors about 5 years ago, probably less than 500 rounds down the new tubes. The wood has plenty of hunting character. Not sure what your price range is but would let it go for a good deal. Your a great friend by the way.

If this didn't sell, please contact me. I'm looking for a "budget friendly" over-under now that I'm recovered from my auto wreck to shoot again — but not enough to be working regularly. Busting some clays would be fun.

+1 on the Yildiz. Go ahead and buy the limb saver at Academy for it while you are there. It makes it a pretty sweet shooting gun.
