Edge fill and 264 Win mag?

Guys will a mcMillan edge filled stock hold up to a 264 win mag?
Trying to build as light of a rifle as I can

I would just call and ask them but I am sure it would. A 264 has no more recoil than a 06

Shouldn't be an issue. I think my ultralite 375 Ruger has the edge fill and it's solid as a rock.

I stocked a .264 Win Mag with a McMillian Game Hunter Stock. I ordered the stock at McMillian, with the assistance of their experienced staff, in Phoenix. I had the Game Hunter filled with the edge fill, but used the mag fill at the recoil lug. The heavier mag fill in that area has a minimal weight difference. It is very likely not necessary , McMillian builds an excellent Stock.
