You have a long life ahead still! I'm 57 and live in a life of pain with little hope of reducing it. Over 12 years this way and getting worse.

With 243win and 260rem in my collection those imr's will be put to use.

4320 Loads for the '308 ; 130 and 150 Grn Loads. Hornady Reloading Manual Volume 2 page 207......... 4320 Loads for the 30-06 ,130 and 150 grn loads page 223 , same Hornady Reloading Manual Volume 2 .

I have used IMR 4320 with 125 grain bullets in a 30-06, it is one of the most accurate loads I have tested, I also use IMR 4320 in a 300 Savage and is the powder I use for a 225 grain bullet in my 338-06 AI. I have used IMR 4350 in various calibers over the years and was the first powder I started loading with in my 30-06 over 50 years ago. I haven't used IMR 4227 much but I started with it in a 22 Hornet years ago and have loaded it in a. 410 shotgun. I will add that IMR 4350 is in my opinion one of the most versatile powders you can use and is very accurate in 30-06, .270 Winchester, 300 Magnums, as well as some smaller calibers such as. 243 Winchester.

Half of my powder is from the 70's and 80's and works just fine. May want to look at older data and compare to newer just to be safe.

I have some old DuPont labeled powders, one unopened of IMR 4320. Are they all good to use as long as they don't smell or appear rusty?

In 50 years I haven't had a single powder RUST yet! Should be good!

4320 in my 17 Rem was my Pet Load. Excellent accuracy and velocity

So what's the best use for the 4320? It's obsolete now, but I guess used to be utilized in 270 Win or 30-06. I have my Dad's guns. He told me his Model 70 Super Grade( 1948) would !all be in a dime @ 100 yds. I never saw him do it BTW. But he was a much better shot than I.

I have a sierra bullets manual with all the data on 4320 powder . includes 22-250 ,220 swift .
