Drew a MT Breaks Elk tag

Nice bull. My eyes must be going bad. I see a 5x8. What's your B&C scoring sheet look like...

It's the angle, taxidermist scored it. Zoom in on these, I have no reason to BS...

27 years, 17 bonus points, and 8 years as a nonresident, 410-20 rifle tag.

Pretty excited to say the least. I drew a cow tag last year and was successful. Me and my hunting partner hauled her out in one trip 3 miles back. Not fun lol.

Scouting is going to be a little difficult as I'm 7 hours away but will get in a few 3 day weekends.

Biggest hurdle is getting back in shape, I'll be 48 this year. I'm dedicated and will start now.
Hello,

My name is Taylor and I came across your thread showing your successful Breaks elk hunt last Fall. I must congratulate you on making the best of that tag, certainly a bull of a lifetime! I was fortunate to have finally drawn the same tag this years with 19 points.

I am originally from Billings but have moved around the state and now reside in Livingston. I have made multiple scouting trips out to the breaks this year and have a good idea on where I want to hunt. I figured it couldn't hurt to try and speak with a recent tag holder and try to pick their brain a little. Not expecting you to give me your honey hole, just trying to get a better handle on the area. If you are open to chatting about your hunt that would be appreciated, however I totally understand staying tight lipped. I tried to figure out how to send a PM message but could initiate a new message. Thanks for your time.

Taylor
