Docter Scope or Binocular repair

Does anybody have a contact for someone that can fix Docter products. A freind damaged his Binos and last time he sent them back to Docter in Germany it was over half the cost of a new pair to get them serviced. Looking for a cottage vendor in the US to handle if you all know anyone. Thanks
