Do you name your rifles?

That's one nice rack.
Thanks, probably my best so far.

I too have a rifle named "Thumper". A Semi Custom 300 WBY shooting a 230 Berger at 3014fps and has hammered every elk put in front of it. My nephew says that Thumper was a gay rabbit.... but the again, he calls his 300 win "Booger'.

I don't have any named. My pops has "bad bob", his old trusty .270 that's killed 100+animals, and "big bill", his 7mmRUM that's his go to elk rifle.

I always liked the name haus-fly for a rifle but none wear that moniker yet

.45 Carry - Alice
Glock 19 carry - Martha
.357 carry (hunting) - Sally
300 PRC - Mother
6.5 Creedmoor - Lorraine
.223 Remington - Sara

If I ask a family member or friend to grab Mother and put her in a case. They all know "whom" I am referring to!!!

I named my Colt 1911 "Sergeant York"
Does everyone know the best gun story ever told?
My dad had m70 243win called, "Hair Knocker"
My uncle had m70 270win called, "Blood & Guts"
My daughter named her mini14, "Sally"
I have a m70 243win named after the original owner called, "Ol' Parker"

I have two rifles named . the other ones I just call them by the cartridge .

Toby , is green . it's my 7mm-08 that I mostly use for groundhogs . it's taken a couple over 700 yards .

Samantha , is tan . it's my 338 lapua . it's rang steel at 2375 yards .
