I have three Tikkka T3 Lites in 300 WSM, (& now four 300 Win Mags, got another one on a covid fire sale in an '80's Rem 700 BDL)
wife and kids moose guns ... my girls have gotten older and with careers & friends dominating their time they no longer hunt with me , which sucks because I don't have my "shooters" anymore and I never want to tag out on the first days of the hunt on just any ol "legal" bull .....

But, that opens up a door into chopping up at least one of the Tikka 300 WSM's and doing a 30 Nosler on it, I initially was working on the "long throat" 300 WSM but never got around to completing it due to some of my wildcats interfering and taking my time & $$

Thinking of running a straight SAAMI 30 Nosler chamber and slutting 180 gr hunting bullets stoked up warm, pretty sure it will bonk the 300 Win Mag & 300 WSM in velocity with more energy to slay the beasts out to my normal moose hunting ranges from 15 yards out to about 650 yards

in a 6.5 lb gun !
