I would like it if you are correct. Could you supply a link to this new rule? I live in northern Idaho and have access to a significant chunk of private property.

Yes, I'm talking about wolves, just pick up a copy of the Idaho game regulations at any store that sells hunting license, I always buy a wolf tag at the first of the year when I buy my new hunting license so I'm good to go, if you are dedicated and feel you can get more than one especially if calling them in, buy more tags, I don't believe there is a limit as long as you have tags, get the regulations.

Dumb question. If states can ignore federal law on marijuana why can't they just ignore it on grizzlies? Seems logical to me.

Thanks Thomas. I know that about wolves intimately. But somehow I thought you were talking about changes for Grizz. I even went so far as to get a thermal permit for wolves last year. I carry double wolf and double cougar tags at all times. I am in the Elk City area and we see brown bear tracks more frequently with more & more trappers getting game cam pics of Grizz. Being able to take cougars with a thermal would help, but F&G won't go for it.

Yes, I figured you would know as to where you live. A trapper friend of mine up here has got pics of Grizzlies on his trai cameras as well. A year or so ago he got pics of 2 different Grizzlies that had tags in their ears.

They need to move them into the Sierra Nev. Like Big Bear lake, Arrowhead, and Yosemite and other National Parks up and down the Sierra. I keep suggesting that, but nobody seem to want to do that. Doesn't the lefty want everybody to share and share alike?

They are showing up since 2011 from Oregon, 2024 they documented a new pack all the way down in Tulare county. A friend lives at Lake Almanor and has seen six fishing at Butt lake.
