How does that work with the defiance retailers? Do you pay full price and send the cert in for a rebate? Or do the retailers accept it like a coupon?

You buy it direct from Defiance. So just go pick out the action you want on their website, minus 50% up to $865, and then contact them to purchase. They fulfill pretty easily.
