I am going to use it for LR hunting, not for competition.
Should I go with the 338 RUM/ Tomohawk? The reasoning for deciding on 338 Lapua/IMP is mainly because of the availability of Match Brass, plus I heard the Lapua has a slight edge over the 338 RUM (in velocity and accuracy). I highly doubt that Lapua will ever make match brass for the 338 RUM (because it would cut the sales of the 338 lapua). Maybe the RUM brass isn't as bad as people say?
Daryll
I think I will go with an improved 338 lapua or IMP 338 RUM. On either a REM or Sako TRG action. I definitely want to dedicate the gun to 300 Grain Sierra's. Daryll which do you personally think would be a better Caliber?
