Cutting Edge 425/13-6.5 Gain twist

I really like cutting edege bullets too. I have a 378 Weatherby ackely improved. Im pushing a 330 grain max at 3000 fps. the accuracy is unbeliveable to the point that puting one bullet through the same bullet hole at 100 yards is boreingly easy. Im presently living in Ill. so I havent had many chances to shoot at over 500 yards and the only chance I had to do that so far(500 yd.) the wind was gusting 10 to20 mph switching from 10 oclock to 4, and 2 oclock to 8 oclock I finaly gave up and held center ignoring the conditions and still was right at a minute. Id like to get to the range with flat conditions just to see how tite it really shoots out there Im thinking postage stamps but I havent had a chance to prove it yet. And thats with a 1 in 12 twist. Im moving back to the Pacific north west soon so I will find out and get back with you.
Another thing I like about cutting edege bullets is Dan the owner will work with you he; helped me come up with a starting load , and I belive if you want a custom bullet he will help you with that too ; he is good people. Before cutting edege bullets a 300 grain sierra was the best bullet I had acces to and there is no comparison.

What other .375 projectiles have you tried with that barrel? I'm getting ready to order another one.

I fired Cutting Edge 350, 375, 400, and 425s. I also fired several ZA prototypes.

I just started testing the 400 and 425 CE in a 6-9 gain twist. Up close they are extremely accurate. I haven't got to stretch it out yet. I had this barrel so I chambered it on a Lawton 8500 just to see how it compared to the 6.5-13. Also if someone makes a 375 7 calibers in length I will use this barrel to test it.

Called Bartlien today. I guess they stopped taking orders in 375 cal for now due to inconsistent ordering. Looks like I will have to wait for now or find more interested in the same barrel.
