Custom Rem 700 6 Creedmoor

Very nice rifle...

I'm in the process of putting a rifle together and was wondering how a #5 contour would fit into a M40 stock. Plenty of room to spare or did you have to do some carving to float the barrel? I'm looking at a 24"
