Custom Mauser Builds

Yessir ncaster thats a sweet rifle. Especially love that stock you made. It looks perfect, exactly how Id do one, or atleast how I would like it to look when done lol.
Whats your favorite load and what barrel is on there?

Also thanks wilpenny you have some nice ones as well sir. I see you must like .284s and Shilen barrels. What contour is that on the third pic from the bottom? Also whats your favorite .284 load?

Thanks yall.

It is a adama & Bennett 24" stainless 10:1. When I was shooting out to 560yards I was using off the shelf federal ammunition 100 gr $19.99 a box. I have loaded up a better round with 90gr Berger with 43 grains of IMR 4360 let just say at 100 yards 3 shoots look like 1.:)

Here's a few I have done over the past few years. Have more somewhere, but can't find the photos. I did all the work on these except the 3rd rifle was a refurb/rebuild.

First one is the first rifle I ever built. Was a .220 swift on a K98, A&B barrel, bold trigger, bedded floated, trued up action.

Second was a "Rat Rifle" I built this one with left over parts sitting around the shop. LR action, Parker hale trigger, Rem Varmint SS .22-250 set back re-threaded and re-chambered. Original chambering was bad and off center. Was a shooter after I got done with it. Trued up the receiver on this one.

Third was an old refurb I did and threw a 6.5-06 barrel on. LR, can't remember the details on this one.

4th rifle I built from scratch. Mexican SR action, Bold trigger, Can't remember barrel make, I carved the stock myself by hand. This was a .243 Win.

Last one was a FN commercial trued up with a Rock Creek barrel, Sako trigger, Richards stock. Chambered in 6mm-06 Imp.
