Since the action has been trued...
Are the tenon threads still 1.06"x16 TPI
Or have they been opened up to 1.08"x16 TPI?

I don't know exactly, I just asked my smith to true it up and install the blank short shanked. I am not sure how much he opened up the threads unfortunately. I will send a message to my smith and see if he remembers, it was put together in August of 2019 though. If your wanting to get it to install a remage type, I can't guarantee it at all. Will update if I get an answer!

Got ahold of my smith, he said that he thinks he chased the threads out and cleaned them up, and it didn't take much, he said it should only be a couple thousands opened up from factory spec.

Thinkin pretty hard about pulling this. Think I might just build on this action and possibly part it out. Thanks for the interest guys. Unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse......
