Selling my light .338 Norma mag. I love the rifle, but I want to build a short barreled rifle to run strictly supressed in a folding chassis for back country deer and elk, have a silencerco about to get out of jail. Anyway, here are the specs -
Manners EH-1 stock in arctic molded camo, two flush cups right side, inletted for PTG BDL, and a Lilja #5 short shanked. Full length area 419 arca rail. Pillar bedded by me, photos below of bedding.
Trued up left handed stainless Remington 700, milled for a Wyatts extended mag box, M16 extractor. Time and tig primary extraction, as well as bolt fluting and bead blast finish to the bolt done by LRI. Trigger Tech primary flat shoe trigger. Scope threads opened up to #8, Tally rail bedded and pinned in place.
#5 Lilja barrel, 9 twist, spiral fluted by Lilja, finished @24", 5/8x24 thread with a MBM TI beast 5 port titanium brake. Recoil is minimal, I can watch impacts at 300 yards without much effort.
PTG BDL, Wyatts extended mag box, follower and spring, 3.850" inside length.
It has a couple marks here and there from hunting and being in my pack, and a very unfortunate vice mark vrom where I put it in a vice and the jaws mared it through the pad. Also on the rail, it has some scrape marks from where I removed some bedding compound when I switched rings.
It likes 300 Bergers, Gen 1 Badlands 270 Super Bull Dozers, and 285 hammers. I have tried to get it to shoot the 250 Super Bull Dozer II's, but it just won't do it consistently. I played with the 265 ABLR's a little, but more just to put out some load data for people, didn't try to tune a load at all. I purchased some 250 Berger Elite hunters, but I have not opened the box yet. Rifle has approximately 350 rounds through it. Loads have been kept modest on this rifle. Have never shot more than 3 rounds without allowing the barrel to cool, most of the shooting has been 1 round then wait several minutes then 1 round.

30 count 270 gen 1 Super Bull Dozer's.
Unopened box of 250 Berger EH's.
50 rds Peterson .338 Norma brass, 7x fired, still in good shape.
2 sets (4) of Vortex (seekins) 30mm low rings, lapped and numbered in order. I set them up how Kirby Allen suggested me too.
Also, I have a one piece PTG bolt being made, a duel ejector with magnum (win mag, wsm, rum) bolt face, as I was planning on using this action to build my new rifle, but don't want to tear this one apart. It is still 8-12 weeks out per PTG, but I would send it to the buyer once received.
