Picked up a box of factory ammo on Saturday for a Sunday funday project, pulled the bullets and necked down in one pass using a FL 257 WSSM sizing die, all others I used Hornady tapered expanders in FL sizing dies and K&M neck expanders

30 thou taper in case, can be improved to 15 thou and pick up at least 10 more gr of case capacity and you're in magnum country on the ol' '06 bolt face

I love how anytime a .25 pops up you and I have the same reaction.
Something about them is Awsome to me. Maybe because my .257 Roy was my first semi custom build. Or because things hit the ground hard with it.

Heres the 257 RPM with the 131 gr ACE bullet next to a 270 WBY factory load, I couldn't find a 257 WBY cartridge, got a couple but MIA

I didn't do a 270 cal because I have zero 270 bullets
