Hey all, I have a coworker that's interested in getting into hunting but doesn't want to break the bank. He's fully willing to buy a brand new tikka or Remington 700 (something that has aftermarket support if he wants to build it out or into something else eventually). I told him he can just borrow one of my rigs this year and to not get into a hurry and do his own research and told him I'd make a couple posts seeing if someone had something used to offer (not looking for a handout or anything). He's open to calibers and rifles but i think I've steered him into wanting a tikka or a Remington 700. Possibly a weatherby vanguard too. He'd like it to be a multipurpose rifle (elk, deer, bear etc) so he's looking at short or long action magnums. I'll pass along any offers to him and if something strikes him I'll get you guys in touch to handle payment/ffl details. Thanks all

I'm just curious, how much has he shot? Is he sensitive to recoil?
He'll be fine lol if he's a wimp he can put a brake on it or wait a year for a can or get something else I guess but I don't think he's recoil sensitive. That being said I'm gonna take him out to a couple spots and he's gonna use my 6.5 creedmoor but that's because it's cheap for me to reload and it hammers blacktails drt for some reason

I have a browning xbolt western hunter in 7RM that i was thinking about selling. Around 35-40 rounds thru it

I have a Savage model 16 weather warrior in 300 wsm. I have never shot it. Although it has been shot by the previous owner. I had my smith put a terminator brake on it. If interested let me know.

Tikka T3x
- 7 rem mag
- Fluted barrel
- Black cerakoated barrel, action, and bolt by Weaver Rifles
- Yo Dave trigger spring
- Lumley oversized carbon fiber bolt knob w/ larger swept handle

Asking $900 shipped. I also have a set of Talley 30 mm rings I'll throw in for $40.00

Is he going to stay in Oregon for his hunts? Which part of Oregon and any range limitations?
