Considering High End AR 308 platform

Just my two cents, but my first was a used Springfield National Match M1A. I don't know if it had ever been fired. It still had the unused cleaning kit in the butt stock. Stupid accurate, and may not get the unwanted media attention that any AR will. 22" barrel chambered in 308. They still make them. There are a few exceptional gunsmiths that specialize in modifying them too. Yes, I still have it.
Mmac; picked up a M1A1 over a year ago in a 6.5 CM,still are tac-drivers ,used it hog hunting in Texas.Had a good time slaying them also. Mexicans really know how to roast them up also!!

Built your own their simple, my back up hunting rig is 308 ar10. Aero makes good receivers spend money on the barrel, and trigger. Then add to your hearts content, what ever parts you want.

LMT MWS is the he way. SS Rock barrels, monolithic upper receiver, quick change barrels, functions flawlessly. Had a 20" 308 and 24" 6.5CM.

Be hard pressed to beat em.

Here's mine in the capable hands of one of my twins. We had just spent time at the range, shooting it or my Springfield Saint in 5.56. They had a blast using a two legged shooting stick as it better mimics real hunting. She was fully grown too.
