Attention Colorado Hunting Applicants! I received a call this afternoon from the 'Colorado Parks and Wildlife' telling me that there was a problem with my credit card on file and if I didn't correct it by the 17th, that I would loose the licenses and my preference points. Since I knew that charges were posted to my credit card account, I was sure that it was a scam, but to be sure I logged into my CP&W account to confirm that the tags that I drew for this year were listed as 'Active'. Obviously some people may actually have an issue with their Colorado account that needs to be corrected, but don't do anything with anyone over the phone, unless you initiate the call. If there was a season for spammers and scammers, I'd buy a tag!
