I don't know u guy's but I eat the animals I kill. But I ant eating a dog ! So let the people hunt and control them big tasty creeters. Them dogs don't stop eating if there ain't no elk I guess some poor hiker will do!

Yes, poaching is deplorable, and so is the introduction of the wolf which will decimate wildlife. Check out what it did to hunting Idaho and Wyoming.

Sounds like a democracy with the resulting tyranny of the majority. I'm from Wyoming and all I can say is you CO hunters and ranchers will be sorry. Very sorry. And about 10 years from now you won't believe how sorry. During that time you will hear how great it is, then the greeny studies to justify the change, all the while preaching how the woofs only kill the weak and the sick. Then CWD control will come into the picture and the research will somehow point to how much that has helped. Don't forget the court battles and the big bucks behind the green movement that thinks woofs are the answer. The sad part is you are not far enough from the mountains of southern WY and once again we will reap what others sow. If they have targets or pack numbers, someone down there better hold their feet to the fire NOW before the numbers are exceeded and it all ends up in court again and again.....

The "They" are all the Denver and Boulder Urban population that voted overwhelmingly for reintroduction of wolves to the western slope. "They" will never see or have to deal with any problems arising from their votes. The people out west that have to live with the newly introduced wolves voted against this proposition by over a 3 to 1 margin. They have lost their voice due to population density in the urban areas. I am not against wolves in Colorado as they are already moving in from Wyoming. I am against the uninformed making decisions that will never affect them. I'm sure "They" would not have voted for reintroduction of wolves to the Denver metro area. Just because a majority voted for an issue doesn't automatically make it good public policy, especially when it deals with an issue like this. It is also American to have a different opinion and voice it regardless of opposition, they don't allow it in China or Russia.

Those who suggest CO deserves human derived elk slaughters because the wolf referendum passed this election is ignorant of the social political dynamics of CO. If you look at the election results you will see an urban decision placed squarely on the backs of rural west slope CO. That generalization is also stereotypical, but none the less the majority of rural CO voted against the referendum be it west slope rural or Front range rural. Excepting San Miguel and Pitkin County, but Telluride and Aspen can hardly be considered CO anymore.

l have a job where I am permitted to destroy wildlife with firearms, traps, and poison. However, I have no interest in the wanton destruction of wildlife or making statements of such activity to meet my political goals. I hope the investigation will conclude with successful prosecution.

The wolves planted in Idaho are destroying the elk herds, not to forget cattle and everything else. big mistake. Basically open season on any wolves spotted here. People can be so easily manipulated by the socialist nit wits. These wolves are huge 200 lb and Breed like rabbits. keep you dogs cats And children inside

Colorado should have never put it to vote in the first place. Sure will suck for ranchers and hunters. I have already seen the effects here in New Mexico. Most game departments are political now anyways. The commissioner/director is appointed by the governor at least here in NM, and they aren't qualified to be making any decisions regarding wildlife. Bringing wolves back could be considered a good long term political move for anti gun and hunting groups, or in general the democrats. Take away the game and......I digress. Hope they nail the poachers
