Chronographs?

Buy once cry once, the Labrador is superior to the magneto speed. I've had both. Load development and speeds at the same time is a game changer when developing a load. Especially with a big boomer that you don't want to heat up or shoot too much in one session.

Depends on what you want to do with it. I'd say if you just want to get an average speed for drops or occasionally look at es/sd, then magneto Sporter. If you want to get into nerding out on data and experimenting with your loading variables, lab radar.

It sounds like they're equally accurate. I have a magneto speed and it's easy to use and works very well.

Labradar. When I'm using it I'm usually doing 3-4 rifles with all the children. I would not want to be swapping back and forth with a magnetospeed. Mine initially had a mic issue and I contacted them and they took care off it and haven't had any issues since even with suppressed pistol loads.

Glad I found this as I've been looking for a new Chrono. I've been boiling it down to the V3 vs. LR, both I feel provide reliable info but cost is the factor. To me the V3 is a more complete kit for your money than the LR, and less than 1/2 the price of a properly equipped LR. However, if I were to buy a Wiser or similar mount for the V3 to take POI shifts out of the equation, then the LR becomes more attractive option.

My main question I can't seem to get answered is how well the MS Sporter version works in the Wiser or other mount with suppressed rifles? If I could get the Wiser mount and Sporter to work well, then I'm doing what I want for far less money than the LR. I'd still be about the cost of a V3, but it would allow me to shoot and eliminate POI shifts from the chrono hanging off the suppressor.

I believe LabRadar is best bang for the buck. All data is easily placed on one spreadsheet and seems be Accurate.

I considered the two box way back when it was in development; but at the end of the day for the accuracies between it and the LabRadar (which isn't much from the information that I could find) the convenience of the LabRadar won out. I can pack it up without having to wait for a "range safe" state. Also I do a lot of velocity recordings for club members. They just pay a small fee for the SD card and my time; short time later they depart with the SD card.
of note the two box can't chrono subsonic pills so if your an air gun or sub sonic loader this isn't your machine.

Once you get past the learning curve, it is a breeze. Last weekend was my first range time with it. Make you arm it, pay attention to the light so you'll get a reading. You might also get some kind of error prompt while you set-up/move your rifle for the next shot because the JKL trigger is sensing the movement as the recoil and no projectile to measure. Have fun with it.

If you haven't done so already, you might consider additional battery packs.

Yes, you want the external battery 4000 mah -10000 mah would be fine. I have 10000 mah and can shoot several days before charging. 90 deg usb is nice to have too.

Thanks. I have an airgun (looking to add more) and a few rimfire 22's so 2-box is out. Labradar is so expensive though.

LabRadar can capture velocities of Rifles, Shotguns (slugs only), Handguns, Pellet Guns, BB Guns, Bow & Arrows, Crossbows and Paintball. You will need an accessory trigger for air rifles and archers will need to get that Application trigger accessory too.

I think LabRadar is one of the easiest to set up. And from what I've been told it's accurate.
