Choosing a new 6.5 Creed

Holy! Any issues with the trigger? I just about bought the Hells Canyon Long Range a month ago but the boss was with me lol.

I see I can get a Remmy 5R for about 800. Then $200 for a Timney. I've got a Loopy VX3 that will get me going until I can save for a better shooting scope.

I had a browning Hells canyon in 6.5 creed. It took a lot of load development and replacing the trigger to get okay groups out it. But that was just my experience. I sold it.

Every rifle is a gamble and there are lemons. I have just had poor luck with Browning and great luck with Savage. I have liked all my Remington's as well. But when I am thinking budget rifle I prefer Savage. When the budget is better I go custom action.
I agree, but Some company's have better qc. When they have a 5 shot submoa guarantee, hard to go wrong

No issues with the trigger. Pretty minimal load development. Thats been my experience with 3 brownings. All 3 are sub .5 without much development. 2 7mm rem mags and a a-bolt II 280 rem.

My B-14 6.5creedmoor HMR has a 24" barrel. Also the trigger is probebly going to be the best of all the rifles you are thinking about.

Says 22"
My buddy's is 22"
There's the a7 next to the Bergara. Both have good hunting triggers, my buddy never adjusted his down(I assume they're adjustable)

I've got a Hell's Canyon LR in Creed. It is easily the finest shooting out-of-the-box rifle I have ever owned. I set the trigger to 3lb (lowest safe setting) and replaced the fake brake with a Vais which I really like.
With handloads the rifle has shot several 1.5" groups at 400yds. It doesn't always shoot that well but quite often it does. It's probably just me and the conditions of the day.
Today I yanked the factory trigger out and replaced it with a Timney. Dialed it down to 1.75lbs just to see if it really helps. On Thursday I'll give it another try.
