Thank you for the kind words.Yes Congrats to Sister & Brother, both taking Fine deer, and Special Congratulations to their Awesome father for laying out the ground work and making it all come together, Beautiful picture's and story . This is what keeps our Family Tradition of hunting alive and well .,Cheers!!!.
My wife and I were talking in the blind this year and we agreed that deer season in our family is easily one of the top 5 holidays. The only time we miss hunting is for sports. Our son had some success as a football and baseball player in high school and college, and now our daughter is getting busy playing too.
For reference, this is my wife's deer from 2021(boat paddle Ruger .25-06 120gr Nosler Partition factory load), our son's first buck in 2012(same Weatherby Vanguard .243(100gr Nosler Partition factory load) that our daughter used this year - forgot the tongue for pictures!), and a 2010 COLD hunt(.54 cal Thompson Thunderhawk 100 grains Pyrodex under 240 gr saboted Hornady xtp). Very blessed to have made these memories.
