Dear Long Range Hunting membership:
Just completed Buffalo and Elephant with a .510 Well Express. Sable with .375 HH and .45 Colt on Nyala - great trip.
Trip tainted by ammo, empty cases, mementos confiscated at Hamad Intl Airport Doha Qatar. Purely administrative.
Qatar Airways was negligent failed to provide a correct form from my return Ammo. Qatar Airways has not been able to effectively advocate for me their customer.
Their mistake could easily have been with my rifles and those would be locked in Qatar.
Please understand all current process (airline and airport security) and ensure your airlines knows your traveling with firearms days ahead of each leg.
Think twice about using Qatar Airways.
