Take a look at the Innorel RC80, 85, or 90. Even to my frotto at 1/5 the cost, just need to put a good head on it.

What about the Leofoto LS-324C + LH 40 ballhead kit? $360 off Amazon. Weight and weight rating seem very good for the cost.
