yes sir they are wrapped to the end and you can cut it of to whatever finish length you would like

The muzzle end has at least a couple of inches of the steel barrel material that is around 3/4" diameter. The smith machines off some of this carbon wrap area to expose the steel core and then machines it appropriately for the threads.

you would literally have to be at sea level and below 30 deg to have like a 1% change in BC factor of the 230 hybrid other wise its money
