Nice warm day to put away instead of freaking blizzard conditions! Stakes pulled out easy instead of needing hydraulic jack.
This time last week it was 10 degrees wind chill. 23 degrees F. down to 8 F that night. Today 66 degrees. Its real! Climate change.
Week ago 10 degrees, 40-50 mph wind, blizzard conditions. Prob -30 to -40 wind chill. Today? 53 rain. All that snow is gone and damp as heck. I'll take it!!!

We went into the single digits and teens last week. Now it is 65 outside. I finally got some wood for the fireplace. I was real careful since having surgery and just picked some big limbs from the Swamp Maple and Water Oak that cracked off from storms. Didn't have to split, just cut into 18" pieces with a small chain saw. I also want to put a fire in the fireplace to make sure there was not any stink bugs trying to get into the house.
Started a small fire and now it's 80 in the house. Really wanted a nice fire for just the looks of it. Got enough wood for New Years Eve so we are happy.

Once the fire started - They were flying out of the Spark Arrester on top of the chimney like Combat Jets on fire!
No more smell
I like that visual. I really hate stink bugs.
It was 0 here. Today 65. Climate change bring it on.
